Position Summary


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Intern to join our IT team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting end users, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining computer systems, hardware, and software in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, customer service-focused, and interested in building a career in Information Technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the desktop team with first-level technical support for desktop hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices
  • Help maintain the inventory of equipment and accessories
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and support requests through ticketing systems
  • Support conference room technology and audiovisual equipment as needed
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when assisting users
  • Perform additional administrative support tasks as assigned
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service experience or technical support experience is a plus
