Job description

Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.
Entarian is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the execution and delivery of complex technical work-streams supporting mission-critical space, communications, and enterprise IT capabilities. The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for coordinating engineering execution across multiple technical teams, ensuring solutions are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in accordance with customer requirements. This role serves as the primary interface between program management, engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and customer stakeholders to drive technical execution from design through deployment and operational transition.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working in large-scale technical environments involving space systems, ground infrastructure, mission operations, communications networks, cloud services, or enterprise IT capabilities.
Key Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Lead day-to-day technical execution across engineering, software, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Coordinate technical activities to ensure alignment with program schedule, scope, and customer priorities.
  • Monitor technical progress, identify execution risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery objectives.
  • Facilitate technical planning meetings, design reviews, integration activities, and implementation readiness reviews.
  • Coordinate with program management, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and dependencies.
  • Manage technical action items, decision logs, risks, and interface agreements across multiple organizations.
  • Support deployment planning, operational transition, and sustainment readiness activities.
  • Ensure technical documentation, engineering artifacts, and deliverables are completed in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Support customer briefings, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), program management reviews (PMRs), and executive status reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery efficiency, quality, and operational performance.

Salary range: $148,000.00 - $185,000.00
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI eligible preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline. (Equivalent experience may be considered.)
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience leading technical delivery, systems engineering, infrastructure deployment, or mission operations programs.
  • Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams supporting complex DoD or federal programs.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating software, infrastructure, cloud, networking, and cybersecurity activities across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid program execution methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration, technical risk management, and configuration management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief senior government and contractor leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Power-Point, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Experience using project collaboration and work management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% to support customer locations, mission partner engagements, and operational activities.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting space, satellite communications, mission operations, or command and control systems.
  • Experience leading technical delivery within AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Knowledge of DoD systems engineering, RMF, and configuration management processes.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent certification.
