Job description

Job Title:         Product Engineer
Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location:         Horicon, WI 53032
Duration:         12 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift:                1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Job Summary

Performs product design, testing, and analysis work for engineering projects. Works in a team environment to support product validation, testing programs, and engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate testing and validation activities
  • Work with engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Track testing programs and analyze performance and reliability
  • Support design reviews and technical documentation
  • Identify process improvements and manage project timelines
  • Provide technical support to engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams

Required Skills

  • Strong Excel proficiency (must have)
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and present technical data
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience in product development, testing, or validation
  • Understanding of engineering processes and project coordination

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with data analysis or PV&V testing
  • Knowledge of Utility Vehicles or similar products
  • Familiarity with PDCA, 8D, and 5 Why methodologies
  • Experience working with suppliers
