This role involves owning the team's vision, ensuring project prioritization aligns with business objectives, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate possess a deep understanding of analytics stack and data architecture, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. You will report to the VP of Data & Analytics and be responsible for the success of internal data products that influence decision-making across all levels.Acting as the bridge between cross-functional teams, you synthesize business needs into well-defined initiatives, harness new opportunities, and ensure utmost data integrity. Your responsibilities also include spearheading the integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as AI and machine learning, while meticulously orchestrating end-to-end project roadmaps.

Job Description:

  • Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for world-class data solutions, managing teams to execute and deliver on the visions vital to the success of business units across global partners in a way that is scalable and reliable
  • Leverage your technical knowledge, subject matter expertise, and understanding of trends to influence business direction and decision-making
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, engineering, and business partners (like finance and operations), to translate business needs into initiatives with well-defined requirements.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop analytic solutions balancing impact, cost, timeline, and analytic risks. Manage and monitor business-critical metrics to ensure data integrity and utility.
  • Continuously interact with stakeholders across the org to gather feedback, prioritize it, and transform it into actionable product requirements, ensuring a unified and intuitive end product for all things data & analytics
  • Create and maintain high-impact documentation for various stages of the data product lifecycle, collaborating with data teams, data science teams, analytics, the PMO, and other business units. Effectively communicate project statuses, wins, and strategies to various organizational levels -- champion a demo-day mindset
  • Partner in setting the vision and direction for the team, and build a product led mindset to culture success. Help drive technical discussions, lead product reviews, or design process and strategy frameworks to maximize business value
  • Drive the integration or application of advanced technologies, machine learning and artificial intelligence across organizations in our vertically integrated business
  • Develop and manage end-to-end roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery, performing risk assessments, and implementing change management strategies for optimal go-to-market rollouts
  • Establish transparent communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, building strong, influential relationships and ensuring alignment with product goals and objectives
  • Oversee product for our data governance programs, collaborating with teams to ensure that data is brought into the planning stage of every product, while working to plan and support data retention needs and ensuring compliance across products internal and external

Additional Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data product management or related roles, with a focus on data products and technology projects.
  • Proven track record in driving product vision, from roadmap conception to launch, and making significant impacts on customer experience and business metrics.
  • Previous experience working closely with cross-functional teams, especially development teams comprising software engineers, data scientists, and analysts.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong grasp of data management principles, including data modeling, governance, and compliance, bolstered by hands-on experience in data analysis and actionable insights derivation.
  • Proficient in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Crisp-DM) and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with the modern data stack and serverless frameworks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, fivetran, databricks, K8s, Docker, Terraform, etc.) as well as familiarity with system integrations, API frameworks, and databases.
  • Strong analytical abilities, adept at solving complex problems using data tools and SQL (Python or R a plus).
  • Solid understanding of industry best practices, emerging data management technologies, and experience in technical program management.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders and handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bonus: Experience in machine learning products/services, particularly in areas like advertiser bidding systems, recommendation systems, reinforcement learning, or generative AI.

Pay Range:

$136,200.00 - $204,200.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
