Job description

Description
As a quality and configuration manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the quality and configurations of TURION's fleet of satellites and subsystems. The primary duties include owning our in-house configuration management process including ECO's part numbers, and release process. You will also be reviewing and internally auditing technical documents and procedures for build, testing, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planning and implementing configuration management across multiple programs.
  • Responsible for reviewing and auditing internally generated technical documents
  • Utilize disciplined technical management processes to establish and maintain the consistency of a product's functional, physical, and performance attributes throughout its lifecycle
  • Ensure that reliable spacecraft and subsystems are being produced with incrementally increasing complexiity


Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with Configuration Management principles, processes, and requirements.
  • Experience working on government or defense programs
  • Degree in a STEM field
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with process controls and system engineering modeling diagrams e.g. SysML
