Our Strategic Sourcing department is looking for a Business Analyst intern to assist with Strategic Sourcing specializing in content updates and business data analytics. The position is hybrid and based out of our Cincinnati, OH headquarters.

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in validating data accuracy, maintaining data integrity, and performing periodic data and site updates
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback, with the ability to actively listen and apply guidance
  • Effective communication and knowledge-sharing skills, with the ability to translate data into clear narratives and actionable insights
  • Demonstrated interest in responsible AI usage, with awareness of governance, data control, and appropriate business application
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Teams, including dashboard creation, data manipulation, SharePoint site content management, and collaboration tools
  • Foundational understanding of data structures, data modeling, and data visualization concepts, with the ability to identify trends and articulate meaningful insights (data storytelling)
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities effectively
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities

Data Maintenance and Analytics

  • Extract, consolidate, and reconcile datasets from multiple systems to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain dashboards and visualizations
  • Interpret data and communicate insights through clear narratives

Information & SharePoint Management

  • Maintain and update internal sites and shared repositories
  • Support workflow automation (e.g., Power Automate)
  • Manage onboarding activities, including user access, permissions, and group management

Business Unit Adoption

  • Maintain and update monthly spend reports and dashboards
  • Import documents and apply metadata for organization and retrieval
  • Maintain and document BU profiles and related processes

Sourcing & Analytical Support

  • Run reports for upcoming contract renewals
  • Assist in cost trending analysis
  • Explore AI-enabled tools (as applicable) to support agreement analysis and summary creation

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in college and pursuing a Bachelor's degree related to information technology with a desire to be technical Business Analyst or Data Science
  • Ability to work 20-40 hours weekly
  • Prior business analyst
  • Prior experience with procurement related tasks not required
