What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a Call Center Associate to join our North American Disaster Relief (NADR) team in Aurora, IL. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritans Purse are to help people in Jesus name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Call Center Associate, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Take inbound/make outbound phone calls to serve homeowners affected by disaster and needing
  • Communicate and minister to homeowners, keeping them informed during the application process and assisting with their requests.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the ministry and support phone calls for other departments and areas as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
What are the qualifications?
Serve with Excellence
As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office suite and technology skills

Type: Associate - On Call as Needed
Department: North American Disaster Relief
Language Requirement: English required, Spanish useful
Pay Rate: $22-28/hour
Employment timeframe: On Call Roster as needed
Shifts: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm or 11:30 am to 8 pm
Potential: Saturdays: 8 am to 8 pm Sundays: 12 pm to 6 pm
