Job description

We are seeking a Technical Engineering Associate to support engineering projects, customer requests, aftermarket service activities, and departmental operations. This role works closely with Engineering, Service, Sales, Operations, and customers to coordinate project details, manage technical documentation, support quoting and scheduling, and help ensure timely follow-through on customer and internal needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary contact for engineering and technical inquiries, routing requests and following through to resolution.
  • Support engineering projects by gathering documentation, technical data, and project information.
  • Coordinate engineering training sessions, including quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and day-of support.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce cases, work orders, service appointments, and related project records.
  • Process engineering billings, invoices, timecards, expenses, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with onboarding, departmental initiatives, and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Customer-facing or cross-functional team experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JTEKT Machinery/Toyoda products.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automation, CNC machining, industrial equipment, or engineering project environments.
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
