Description
DRCG is seeking a talented and experienced Technical and Mission Support Assistant (Administrative Assistant) that also performs as our On-Site Lead (Project Manager) that assists the Program Manager with contract and program activities.
Location: USCIS HQ, 5900 Capital Gateway Dr, Camp Springs, MD 20588 (On-Site 5 days a week)
Clearance: USCIS Background Investigation
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibility of the On-Site Lead will be to serve as the primary point of contact for face-to-face communication with contract/program stakeholders. Other responsibilities include:
  • Serve as the primary POC for all locations
  • Serve as the first POC to resolve issues (professionalism, performance, time and attendance, leave issues, etc.
  • Management of team performance
  • Management of operational concerns
  • Communicate assignments and projects across the team
  • Provide recommendations to the Program Manager, to include workload balances and workflow
  • Provide required training to ensure all assigned duties can be accomplished
  • Provide weekly reports on individual and team accomplishments, problems, progress in tasks, work processes, and individual team needs

The On-Site Lead will also perform Technical and Mission Support Assistance (Administrative) duties that include:
  • Providing services that support the mission and daily operations of the agency
  • Executive support
  • Clerical support
  • Administrative support
  • Presentation support
  • Communication support

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least four (4) years of overall experience
  • Must have proven experience managing 25+ FTEs on the same project
  • Must have proven experience managing FTEs that are geographically dispersed across the US
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Visio, and Adobe
  • Technical security skills
  • Exceptional coordination skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Professional telephone and email etiquette
  • Ability to create and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • USCIS experience
  • USCIS Background Investigation
