DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead Integrated Design Management efforts across multiple projects or buildings within a campus or region.
  • Drive early alignment on critical systems, design assumptions, and high-cost scope elements.
  • Maintain accountability of third-party design teams for design quality, schedule adherence, and decision readiness.
  • Lead structured design reviews, decision-focused coordination meetings, and technical alignment discussions.
  • Ensure consistent application of design gating, internal ADC project requirements including CDE, CCL, technical bulletins, and risk tracking practices.
  • Coordinate development and maintenance of project risk registers from land enablement through turnover to Operations.
  • Partner closely with Senior Construction Managers to align design decisions with construction sequencing, constructability, and execution needs.
  • Support development and maintenance of standardized design durations, milestones, and performance metrics.
  • Provide mentorship, functional guidance, and technical leadership to Integrated Design Managers and Associate Integrated Design Managers.
  • Assist in preparation of project dashboards, quarterly updates, and leadership communications.
  • Support customer interface activities during fit-out design and technical integration as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, KPI development, and refinement of IDM tools, workflows, and best practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 9 or more years of experience managing complex commercial or mission-critical design programs
  • Strong data center or other technical industry design and construction background
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and mentor junior team members
  • Deep understanding of design coordination, system integration, cost drivers, and constructability
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Smartsheets, and design management platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel out of home market, up to 25 percent. Time-on-site will vary by project by need.
