Qualifications
  • Must possess New York State Certification in Initial/Professional Technology Education
  • Bachelor's Degree/Master's preferred
  • Experience teaching high school students preferred

Duties Provide direct instruction in technology/STEAM classes through a project-based learning approach. Implement innovative instructional strategies that integrate professional 21 st century skills. Support college and workforce readiness. Commit to serving in an advisor/mentor role while collaborating with the P-TECH teaching team, and other STEAM teacher. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Salary Based upon education and experience
Starting Date September 1, 2026
* P-TECH OHM: Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) offers an integrated high school and college curriculum focused on STEM while also providing workplace skills through internship experience. This program combines academic rigor and career focus with graduates earning a high school diploma and an accredited associate's degree from Mohawk Valley Community College.
