As a Supply Chain Trainee in Valeo Mondovi you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker Companies, in the automotive product development field, working in an international and multicultural environment.

Mission:

You will be able to learn about how to manage inventory level of raw materials and components families,

- Making sure that the materials and components are available to meet the complete customer demand

- Identifying blocking points and plan appropriate quick actions to solve them

- When predicting suppliers not delivering on-time, systematically collecting reliable information and communicate it to internal customers and all relevant departments in the plant.

You will learn in a complex logistic environment how to:

Follow up the MPS achievement and propose preventives actions regarding material availability to ensure MPS realization.

Set up a proper raw materials and components inventory levels.

Define and lead actions connected with inventory reductions with his components families.

Follow up and report daily the inventory level of his raw material and components families.

Follow up daily the material arrivals according to firm orders and make sure suppliers ship parts on time according to firm orders.

Define with the External flow analyst the inbound transportation plans.

Propose logistics protocol with suppliers in co-operation with External flow analyst and Purchasing.

Desired skills and experience:

Education: Engineering/Economics/Law Degree

Competences required: good communication skills; basic knowledge of main manufacturing processes; committed to improvement and problem solving skills; MS excel.

Language: Italian mother tongue, fluent English
