A Day In The Life
- Help Develop and implement hands-on training programs for CNC machine operation, setup, and maintenance.
- Train new hires and upskill existing Leads and Machinists on CNC equipment including Preventive Maintenance Daily, Weekly and Monthly checklist for all CNC Machines.
- Instruct on reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Teach proper use of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and inspection techniques.
- Ensure trainees understand and follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to align training with equipment updates and process changes
- Maintain training records and track progress of machinists.
- Conduct periodic assessments and provide feedback to trainees and supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting machining issues and provide guidance on corrective actions
- Assist Supervision in assigning tasks to Leads across the facility.
