Job description

Title: Perm - Laboratory - Med Lab Tech (MLT) (Varied) Coos Bay, OR
Description: Reedsport, Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point and North Bend are all locations by Bay Area Hospital that would have options for housing with a 30 or so minute commute in. Again, there's no traffic and would be a very scenic commute!
Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00 - $44.00/hour (This is a union position, rate will be decided on years of experience and non-negotiable)
19% Perm Placement Fee
Medical Lab Technician
Perform clinical laboratory testing which aide the physician in the crucial role of detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position
  • Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment and telephones
  • Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
  • Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
  • Demonstrates a general knowledge of standard medical laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety precautions
