Job description

The Business Analyst (IT) will play a crucial role in translating business needs into effective process and technology solutions within the TMS/OBC domain, ensuring alignment with the Global template. This position supports various deployments, including Mastery and Motive, and participates in testing, training, and documentation efforts to enhance system functionality while promoting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into process and technology solutions within the TMS/OBC domain aligned to the Global template.
  • Guide business case development for new functionality, including cost/benefit and risk/impact analyses.
  • Support Mastery/Motive deployments by reviewing ticket backlogs, prioritizing issues, and driving resolutions.
  • Participate in analysis and requirements gathering for deployments to additional CHS product lines.
  • Create test plans and cases, perform functional testing, and ensure user acceptance testing for owned deliverables.
  • Support, test, and enhance simple to moderately complex systems and collaborate on error management functionality.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation.
  • Provide new user training on supported applications as requested.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and driving corrective actions.
  • Participate in unit and integration testing.
  • Provide cutover and hypercare support.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of IT business analyst experience in road transportation.
  • One full lifecycle OBC deployment and one full lifecycle TMS deployment.
  • At least 1 year of OBC/TMS production support.
  • 1+ year facilitating requirements-gathering SDLC workshops.
  • Proven effectiveness working with cross-matrixed teams.
  • Availability to perform work in the CST time zone.
  • Strong communication, organization, and structured thought delivery.
  • Self-starter with balanced independent exploration and thoughtful inquiry.
  • Efficient time management and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Motive deployment experience.
  • Mastery Mastermind deployment or support experience.
  • Road Energy Transportation business experience.
  • Snowflake integration experience.
