Description
Position Summary:
This position provides walk-up, desk-side, remote service technical support to employees at Super Radiator Coils Chaska Division and Remote Offices. IT Support Technicians are often involved in the procurement and installation of end-user technology, employee moves and relocations, printer, device installation, troubleshooting and network cable installation. Works in conjunction with Corporate IT to implement changes and enhancements to infrastructure.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages end-user requests, prioritizes work, and communicates with end-users regarding support efforts.
  • Provides support for desktop technologies including end-user applications, operating systems, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Completes limited administrative tasks for end user access requests, hardware and software requests.
  • Images and configures new systems, repairs or restores damaged systems, coordinates, decommissions retired systems.
  • Aids with meeting room and collaboration technologies when necessary.
  • Manages an inventory of end user technology to support the needs of the business' on-boarding and hardware failure needs.
  • Monitors inventory levels and recommends replenishment and disposal when necessary.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of technical support experience.
  • Excellent user support skills - Ability to assist with user issues in a friendly manner.
  • Attention to detail - Being thorough and accurate when accomplishing a task. Good documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to manage the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of end users' PC or workstation hardware.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to manage the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of PC or workstation software for end-users.
  • Passion for IT and learning.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Software Experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Ticketing Software, Windows)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in technology or related field.
  • Microsoft Sharepoint Site Management (Cloud)
  • AzureAD / Active Directory Users and Computers
  • Must be able to support flexible scheduling (weekend and evening availability (rarely) necessary).

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Carrying and lifting computers and related equipment up to 50 pounds.
Crouching, kneeling and tight access.
Extended periods of time sitting or standing.
Extended periods of time with arms above head when installing network cables.
Working in a manufacturing environment at times will require extended periods of time wearing PPE (eye protection, ear protection, dust mask, and steel toe shoes).
Will entail some travel to other company locations as needed.
