Job description

MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in areas such as installation, maintenance, technology support, data systems, and network required
  • Associate's degree or technical degree preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide training and technical support to develop solution for user related technical problems
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and support computer hardware and software, copiers/printers, and other technology or networking equipment with site-based updates as needed
  • Mange, install, and configure mobile device management solutions
  • Create various networking cables and understanding basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Learn various hardware and software systems, and incorporate them into the existing technology environment
  • Perform routine tasks as assigned with basic knowledge of G-Suite
  • Understand computer related hardware and software with an advanced understanding in relation to Windows and Chrome operating systems
  • Research and make recommendations regarding purchases relating to computer systems, peripherals, and networking equipment
  • Work with vendors on software, hardware, and operations installation, troubleshooting resolution of technical issues, administration, and maintenance
  • Communicate at all levels on technical issues until final resolution
  • Create, prepare, and organize technical documentation for application software and hardware; procedure documentation, operation instructions, maintenance records, and parts inventory
  • Prioritize and schedule work; maintain records and prepare clear and concise reports as required
  • Provide assistance with District technology initiatives and projects as needed
  • Performs other duties, related to the job, as assigned by the Director of Technology
