Remote Contract Opportunity

Location: Remote (East Coast time zone hours required)

Contract Length: (Initial term of 6 months)

Overview

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Developers to join a large-scale technology team supporting a federal client. This is a remote contract opportunity working alongside a large team, which is made up of approximately 80% development, 20% DevOps. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, specific project details will be shared with qualified candidates as the process advances.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across the full stack
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members including developers, DevOps engineers, and QA
  • Participate in an agile development environment with regular standups, sprint planning, and code reviews
  • Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code) to enhance development speed, code quality, and productivity
  • Adapt quickly to existing codebases and evolving technical requirements
  • Communicate effectively with team members across East Coast working hours

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required (no exceptions)
  • Strong mid-level experience in full stack development
  • Experience with the following: Angular (front-end), PHP and/or Java (back-end)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Availability to work East Coast time zone hours
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active or previous U.S. government security clearance
  • Prior experience working on U.S. government or federal contracts
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to actively use, Claude (Anthropic's AI assistant) or similar AI coding tools as part of the development workflow
  • Experience working in fast-paced, large team environments (20+ team members)
