Account Manager
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid)

About the Role
cloudIT is looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Account Manager to support our growing client base. You will be the primary contact for clients—ensuring they are informed, supported, and aligned with the technology services that help their business thrive.
You’ll work closely with vCIOs, engineering, and leadership to deliver a consistent, exceptional client experience while identifying opportunities for modernization, security improvements, and automation.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and nurture relationships with assigned clients.
  • Serve as the point of contact for daily questions, updates, and service needs.
  • Confidently manage client conversations during service challenges with transparency and professionalism.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning.
  • Identify technology upgrades, security enhancements, and automation opportunities.
  • Assist with quotes, renewals, and proposals using systems and tools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on tickets, projects, and escalations.
  • Track licensing, service terms, and renewals to ensure continuity.
  • Communicate proactively about risks, improvements, and recommendations.

What We’re Looking For
  • Shows a strong passion for technology, continually investing in professional learning to stay ahead of industry trends and translate innovation into real-world client value.
  • Experience in an MSP, IT services, SaaS, or technology-related environment (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication as well as relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in business terms.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through.
  • Comfortable discussing pricing, service value, and business needs with clients.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud services, networking, or IT security is a plus.

Salary Range
$60,000 – $70,000 base salary
Plus performance-based bonus & commission potential
