Summary

The Sales Executive (Hunter Role) is responsible for driving net new business development through proactive prospecting and strategic engagement with high-value targets in designated vertical markets. This role focuses on acquiring new managed services and co-managed IT service contracts, ensuring alignment with company revenue and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute sales playbooks for named targets, as prescribed by Marketing and Sales Enablement Teams.
  • Identify and pursue high-value prospects within assigned vertical markets.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using targeted prospect lists.
  • Conduct discovery meetings, deliver proposals, and close multi-year managed services agreements.
  • Follow documented sales stages in HubSpot CRM (Lead ? Discovery ? Proposal ? Closed Won).
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates of all activities and opportunities in CRM.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales enablement to leverage campaigns and collateral.
  • Coordinate with Technical Account Managers for smooth handoff of new clients post-sale (handoff is 90 days or sooner, after closing initial opportunity).
  • Include pre-sales experts in at least 3 meetings per week to ensure technical alignment and solution accuracy. (Security, Compliance, Engineer…)

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred & 3 years’ experience in B2B sales required.
  • Proven track record in IT services or technology sales.
  • Strong prospecting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-level decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
  • Understanding of managed services, cybersecurity, and compliance solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and meet aggressive growth targets.
