What are tech positions in hospitals?

Tech positions in hospitals refer to a variety of roles that involve the use, maintenance, and support of medical technology and information systems. These jobs include medical laboratory technicians, radiology technologists, IT support specialists, biomedical equipment technicians, and health information technicians. Professionals in these roles help ensure that medical equipment functions properly and that patient data is managed securely. They play a critical role in supporting clinical staff and improving patient care through technology.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in tech positions in hospitals?

To thrive in tech positions in hospitals, you need a solid knowledge of healthcare IT systems, networking, cybersecurity, and often a relevant degree in information technology or computer science.
