Job Summary
The UX Designer will support the design and optimization of credit union websites, digital banking platforms, and mobile applications. The role requires advanced proficiency in Figma, expertise in responsive web and mobile design, and a deep understanding of secure, compliant, and user-friendly financial services experiences. The designer will collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Marketing, and Compliance teams to deliver seamless digital member journeys.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design responsive websites and native mobile apps (iOS/Android) for digital banking platforms.
  • Create and maintain design systems, components, and prototypes using Figma.
  • Develop user journeys for online banking account onboarding, loans, credit cards, payments, transfers, bill pay, and digital servicing flows.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and persona creation to inform design decisions.
  • Produce user flows, IA, journey maps, and interactive prototypes to support product development.
  • Ensure designs adhere to WCAG 2.x and ADA compliance standards for U.S. digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Marketing, and Compliance teams to align on requirements and deliver optimal user experiences.
  • Incorporate regulatory considerations, fraud prevention, and financial UI clarity into design solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma: auto layout, components, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Expertise in designing responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of digital banking workflows, especially for credit unions, banks, or fintech.
  • Knowledge of UX design methodologies (Design Thinking, UCD, Double Diamond).
