Job description

Solomon Page is partnering with a prestigious law firm to identify an experienced Commercial Technology Attorney for a contract engagement within its Media & Technology practice. This highly regarded practice advises clients across a range of industries, including fintech, technology, privacy, and intellectual property matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong commercial technology transactions experience who enjoys drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex technology-related agreements.
  • Location: Remote
  • Duration: Approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position based on business needs
  • Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week on average, with flexibility required as workload may fluctuate
  • Rate: $100-150/hour
Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial technology agreements
  • Advise clients on technology-related transactions
  • Analyze contractual risks and provide practical, business-focused legal advice
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to facilitate efficient deal execution
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work product
  • Communicate proactively regarding project status, timelines, and workload
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4+ years of law firm experience
  • Significant experience drafting software, licensing, IT services, and related commercial technology agreements
  • Experience advising clients in technology, fintech, privacy, digital media, or related industries
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing abilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
