AJ Chambers are thrilled to be representing an innovative, high growth legal firm that are seeking an experienced Commercial Technology & Partnerships Counsel to join its expanding legal team.


This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology companies, leading complex commercial transactions and helping shape scalable legal frameworks that support strategic partnerships across the technology sector.


This role is ideal for a commercial lawyer who enjoys negotiating sophisticated technology agreements, working in a fast-paced environment, and playing a key role in building best-in-class contracting processes.


Must Haves

  • 6-9 years' experience focused on commercial contracts, technology transactions, MSAs, and commercial playbooks.
  • Strong background negotiating and drafting technology partnership, reseller, channel, and strategic commercial agreements.
  • Experience working with cloud services, SaaS platforms, or major technology ecosystems.
  • Previous experience at a leading law firm or a highly regarded in-house legal team within the technology sector.
  • Significant experience managing a high volume of complex commercial agreements while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of intellectual property, licensing, data rights, and commercial risk allocation.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, the San Francisco Bay Area.


Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting cloud provider partnerships or channel/reseller programs.
  • Background advising fast-growing technology companies or venture-backed businesses.
  • Experience designing scalable commercial contracting frameworks and negotiation playbooks.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience within a commercial legal team.
