Description

For the upcoming Fall 2026 semester, Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust (TAIT) is searching for an aviation-related student who has completed at least 60 hours within his/her major who possesses a strong desire to gain experience in running an airport. The intern will gain well-rounded experience through job shadowing and meaningful projects associated with the management and operation of our international and general aviation airports. The incumbent will gain a wide array of airport experience up to 40 hours per week during normal daytime office hours. Pay is $12/hour.

Requirements

TAIT is seeking a professional, energetic and motivated student to be an active part of our progressive Airport system. The intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the following functional areas of our commercial and general aviation airports (TUL & RVS).

* Operations: Security, Airfield Electrical, Airfield Maintenance, Operations, Emergency Management, Dispatch/Law Enforcement, and General Aviation

* Customer Experience: Customer Service, Building Services, Building Systems & Maintenance

* Engineering & Planning: Capital Improvement Planning, Geographic Information Systems, and Environmental Compliance

* Finance: Financial Forecasting, Revenue, Debt Management, Analysis, Accounting

* Risk Management/Legal Services: Contracting, FAA Regulations, Insurance Programs, Legal Claims

* Real Estate: Development and Leasing of Airport Real Estate

* Human Resources: People Operations, Compliance
