EY is seeking a highly strategic and client-focused Cyber Sales Executive (SE) to drive growth within our Cybersecurity practice. This individual will be responsible for originating new opportunities, expanding executive client relationships, and helping organizations address their most critical cybersecurity challenges through assessment, transformation, and managed security services offerings. The role requires a proven cyber sales professional with deep industry expertise, strong C-suite relationships, and the ability to articulate EY's differentiated value in an increasingly complex threat landscape.


The Opportunity

As a Cyber Sales Executive, you will serve as a trusted advisor to CISOs, technology executives, and business leaders across a designated sector. You will collaborate closely with EY account teams, alliance partners, and Cyber leadership to develop and execute growth strategies, build pipeline, and drive strategic pursuits. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales leader who combines cybersecurity expertise with a passion for client engagement and business development.


Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
  • Drive pipeline creation, qualification, and sales execution for EY's Cybersecurity practice.

  • Originate new business opportunities through existing client relationships, alliance ecosystem partners, and EY account teams.

  • Expand strategic relationships with targeted clients and identify opportunities to grow EY's presence within accounts.

  • Lead go-to-market activities, sector-based growth initiatives, and targeted sales campaigns aligned to priority cybersecurity offerings.

  • Provide strategic pursuit leadership and deal coaching on priority opportunities.


Executive Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and senior business leaders.

  • Serve as a thought partner to clients on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, transformation, and operational resilience.

  • Understand industry-specific cyber risks, trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging market dynamics.

  • Leverage executive relationships to identify opportunities and accelerate sales cycles.


Alliance & Ecosystem Engagement
  • Develop and strengthen relationships across the cybersecurity technology ecosystem.

  • Establish recurring engagement cadences with alliance partners aligned to sector and geographic priorities.

  • Collaborate with technology partners to identify and pursue joint opportunities.

  • Stay current on partner capabilities and emerging cybersecurity solutions that can enhance client outcomes.


Cyber Managed Services & Operate Coordination
  • Identify opportunities related to Cyber Operate and Managed Services offerings.

  • Collaborate closely with Managed Services sales leaders and sector teams to transition qualified opportunities.

  • Participate in strategic pursuits where ongoing involvement provides client insight, relationship value, or pursuit advantage.

  • Support integrated cross-service line selling strategies to maximize client value.


Market Intelligence & Sector Leadership
  • Develop deep sector-specific cyber expertise and market presence.

  • Maintain strong relationships with Cyber Partners, Principals, Managing Directors, and practice leadership.

  • Provide insights into competitive positioning, market trends, client priorities, and emerging cybersecurity challenges.

  • Help shape sector growth strategies by bringing intelligence from the marketplace into EY's Cyber practice.


Continuous Development
  • Maintain current knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, industry trends, regulatory developments, and cyber ecosystem capabilities.

  • Drive continuous improvement in sales excellence, account management, and solution positioning.

  • Function as a mentor and collaborator across the Cyber practice to help elevate market impact and sales effectiveness.


Qualifications
Required
  • 10+ years of client-facing business development, sales, or account leadership experience, with a significant focus on cybersecurity solutions.

  • Demonstrated track record of originating and closing complex cybersecurity consulting, transformation, and managed services engagements.

  • Experience building executive-level relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and other senior stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, market trends, and risk management challenges.

  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizations and influence stakeholders across multiple levels.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic pursuit leadership skills.


Preferred
  • 15+ years of enterprise technology or cybersecurity sales experience.

  • Established cybersecurity ecosystem and alliance relationships.

  • Deep expertise within a specific industry sector (e.g., Consumer Products, Healthcare, Financial Services, Energy, Manufacturing, Technology).

  • Experience selling cybersecurity assessments, transformation programs, identity security, cloud security, managed security services, or cyber strategy engagements.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $200,000 to $385,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $240,000 to $437,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
