ABOUT THE JOB

The Etcher position runs rotary/conveyor etching equipment to achieve customer specifications and performs routine maintenance on equipment to ensure process capability. Etcher also uses fixtures and dip tank equipment to remove photo resist from completed product received from etching. They are required to use post stripping dip processes to clean foreign object debris from product to achieve customer specifications as well as monitors chemistry condition to ensure good productivity and quality.

  • Performs etching and Stripping processes per general instructions to achieve customer specification.
  • Reads and applies special instructions when applicable.
  • Performs frequent measuring tasks to ensure product conformance with specialized measuring equipment.
  • Documents measurements and trends according to product control worksheet and traveler review and markup instructions
  • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Lead.
  • Monitors chemistry condition to ensure good quality.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Performs prescribed preventive maintenance on machines as required per P.M. charts.
  • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
  • Work as a team member with peers and leadership to achieve production demands.

Note: This is a full-time 2nd shift position. Standards days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Salary Range: $17.50-$25.00/hour 
This is the full salary range for the position. Most new hires can expect to start around $17.50/hour. 
Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
