Plating Technician (Finisher) – 2nd Shift
Location: Plymouth, MA | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Department: Manufacturing Operations

Tech Etch is a 100% employee-owned manufacturer of precision-engineered components for the medical, aerospace, and electronics industries. We’re looking for a Finishing Technician to support our production team by performing chemical plating processes that ensure durability, conductivity, and compliance with customer specifications.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, values attention to detail, and is ready to grow their career in a stable, team-oriented setting.
What You’ll Do:
  • Follow process instructions and job documentation to plate materials to required thickness and finish
  • Review and apply special instructions on job travelers
  • Perform in-process inspections using calipers, gauges, and test equipment
  • Record measurement data accurately and consistently
  • Report defective parts or irregularities to your team lead
  • Monitor plating tank chemistry and equipment to ensure quality
  • Keep your workspace safe and organized
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Work independently while staying on task and on schedule
  • Collaborate with your team to meet daily production goals

Salary Range: $17.50-$25.00/hour 
This is the full salary range for the position. Most new hires can expect to start around $17.50/hour. 
Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
