Position Summary

The Technology Solutions Consultant will be responsible and accountable for driving new business from new accounts in defined markets. The consultant will represent all Cantey Tech Consulting products and services to prospective clients. The prospects will include small and medium businesses and larger enterprises in all industry segments. The consultant will be responsible for prospecting, developing solutions for clients and closing business. In addition, this professional will be responsible for working closely with the entire team to ensure customer satisfaction and providing input on customer and market needs.  

Position Responsibilities

·         Business development, customer relations, conducting lead generation and local marketing initiatives.

·         Keen understanding of business IT & network environments including cyber security challenges and capabilities.   

·         Crisp knowledge of Cantey Tech services and capabilities that align to Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) IT business and cyber security needs.

·         Conduct professional, high level discovery conversations to understand prospect needs, objectives and outcomes desired.

·         Identification & alignment of Cantey Tech services that address prospect needs and objectives.  

·         Weekly and monthly review sales pipeline and business development opportunities   

·         Sales forecasting and pipeline (CRM) management to meet monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

·         Networking at various IT and other related events before, during and after business hours

·         Employees must complete individual annual objectives as assigned.

Qualifications

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree, desired 

·         Related Work Experience: Minimum two years of sales or cyber security industry experience

·         Technical Skills: Must have some industry experience in IT or cyber security or related technologies

·         Other: Strong listening, oral & written communication skills, strong PC proficiency

·         Unquenchable drive to evolve into an industry leading top seller

·         Has innate proactiveness and action oriented

·         Willingness to collaborate and be a great teammate

·         Curious, open minded, honest
