Technical Writer- IT Communications Specialist

Job Description In IT Customer Success and Enablement (CSE), we drive internal customer success and technology enablement across Client to minimize disruption, enhance productivity, and improve the employee experience.

We bridge the gap between technology and people by raising awareness and fostering engagement with ITโ€™s offerings, initiatives, platforms, and services.

We also drive for excellence by measuring adoption and satisfaction and ensuring continuous improvement.

We are seeking an IT Communications Specialist to develop and deploy internal workplace campaigns and materials, including end user communications, guides, and other assets, to ensure a great technology experience for employees at Client.

The Specialist will work closely with the CSE leads and team to support various key initiatives across the enterprise.

Assignment Responsibilities

- Partner with IT CSE Leads, CSE team and stakeholders to prepare communications plans for IT and technology product enhancements, new solutions, mergers and acquisitions, or other changes impacting the end user experience.

- Develop end user communications, such as news articles, internal social community content, email campaigns, executive communications, and user surveys for enterprise-wide channels and targeted campaigns.

- Partner with the IT CSE learning team to prepare and edit content used in learning offerings, such as live events, learning labs, or eLearning courses, to ensure technical accuracy and end user understanding.

- Prepare presentations, facilitate discussions, and/or support project leads with delivery of presentations in IT Hosted Meetings or other forums.

- Partner with IT CSE Leads to design, analyze and prepare reports on listening and measurement initiatives, including employee surveys, training completion reports, and project metrics.

Assignment Qualifications

- Bachelorโ€™s Degree required with a major in communications, business or social sciences.

- 3+ yearsโ€™ experience in internal communications, ideally in IT, HR, Internal Communications, or Marketing.

- Requires strong writing and editing skills.

- Strong use of generative AI to support development.

- Strong understanding of collecting and presenting data effectively.

- Strong desktop computer skills, preferably with the Microsoft 365 app suite.

- Fluency with IT, technology, or technical subject matter required.

- Technical writing skills are a plus.

- Corporate or other social media posting experience is a plus.

- Search engine optimized (SEO) writing experience is a plus.
