Job description

Business Development Representative (BDR)

Kahuna Workforce Solutions is seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Kahuna team. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and industry expertise—fueling the top of the funnel and opening doors with some of the world’s leading organizations.

As a BDR focused on the Manufacturing sector, you’ll be the frontline connection between Kahuna and the companies powering the world — helping them discover how our digital skills management platform improves workforce competency, ensures compliance, and drives operational performance across complex, safety-critical environments.

What You’ll Do
  • Engage with inbound leads from the Manufacturing sectors, ensuring timely and personalized follow-up.
  • Prospect into target accounts — through tailored outreach (calls, emails, and social selling).
  • Qualify opportunities by uncovering customer needs, challenges, and current workforce competency approaches — and map those to Kahuna’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to develop messaging, campaigns, and industry-specific value propositions that resonate with key personas
  • Track, measure, and report on lead quality, conversion rates, and campaign impact to ensure a healthy, high-performing pipeline.
  • Represent Kahuna at key industry events
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–5 years of experience in software sales development, business development, or B2B sales.
  • Strong communicator who can build trust quickly with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Driven and resilient self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently meets or exceeds targets.
  • BA/BS degree and a passion for technology, digital transformation, and workforce enablement.
  • Organized, curious, and coachable — eager to grow into a sales or account executive role within a scaling SaaS organization.
Why Kahuna?

At Kahuna, we’re redefining how industrial workforces are developed, deployed, and empowered. Our skills and competency management platform helps organizations:

  • Build real-time visibility into workforce competency and compliance readiness.
  • Reduce time to proficiency across field and technical roles.
  • Optimize training investments and workforce deployment.

Joining Kahuna means:

  • Working with a passionate, purpose-driven team transforming how global leaders manage their most critical asset — their people.
  • Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding SaaS company.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technology that’s enabling the next generation of digital, safe, and skilled workforces.
