Shift Details: 10 pm - 8:30 am Holidays: Yes Weekends: Yes
Job Summary:
Sign-on Bonus up to $5,000!
Under supervision, performs the functions of Electroencephalography (EEG) by group and/or individual teaching, observation, assigned reading, and practical application under the direct supervision of laboratory staff. Additional duties include but not limited to charge capture, scheduling patients, and other duties as assigned. May be required to float to other sites to ensure optimal department operations.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Must meet one of the following requirements: 1. Ability to perform departmental competencies for Tech 1 role or 2. Successful completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technologist Associate Degree program.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Combination of equivalent formal training/internship along with work experience and/or enrollment in an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
