Warehouse and Production Associate  

Global Water Technology, Inc.

Executive Narrative: The Warehouse & Production Associate is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock, and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. Duties will also include assisting production associates in chemical product handling, transfers, and batch making. 

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving 

· Preparing orders for shipment / picking and palletizing customer orders

· Using forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move products around the warehouse as instructed

Inventory

· Basic inventory management such as checking raw material and finished good inventory quantities and reporting to manager 

Chemical Handling

· Chemical handling such as chemical transfers and batch making. Batch making includes: following recipe, weighing out ingredients, and quality control.

· Stage orders for future deliveries 

General Maintenance

· Housekeeping and cleanliness duties / responsible for maintaining clean & organized environment in the warehouse and the property 

Typical Qualifications:

· 1 to 5 years in a warehouse or inventory management position or other related work. 

· Forklift training and experience is preferred but not required. (Certification & Training Provided)

· High school graduation or GED required; preference will be given to a candidate with college experience.

· Cross functionality is a necessary part of this position. 

· The successful candidate will contribute to the overall friendly, hardworking culture that GWT has established. 

· Attention to detail and cleanliness are a must. 

· The successful candidate for this position must pass a drug screening and background check. 

· General computer skills, able to use inventory management software.

Working Conditions: The Warehouse & Production Associate is a warehouse-based position. All of the workload is performed within GWT’s warehouse facility. 

The Warehouse & Production Associate will occasionally be expected to be available outside of standard business hours to support the warehouse and production needs of the company’s clients. 

Physical Requirements: This position can be physically demanding. This includes the requirement to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects on a regular basis. The Warehouse & Production Associate is required to move around a production and warehouse environment. The Warehouse & Production Associate will need to be able to carry products (e.g. chemical pails, softener salt, raw materials) of up to 50 to 80 lbs.
