Job description

Job Title: Perm-Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Location: Newark, DE 19718
Salary Range: $75,000 $112,000
Shift: Days | Full-Time | 4x10-hour shifts (9:00 AM 7:00 PM)
On-Call Requirement: 1 2 days per week & every 6th weekend

Job Summary:

ChristianaCare is currently seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. This position requires advanced knowledge and skill in radiographic procedures, patient care, and imaging technologies. You'll be responsible for producing diagnostic-quality radiographs while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiographic equipment including Siemens, Philips, and Ziehm systems

  • Accurately perform and identify radiographic exams with appropriate labeling (date/time/patient ID)

  • Utilize PACS, Computed Radiography (CR), and Digital Radiography (DR) systems, including routine quality control (QC) procedures

  • Burn and prepare patient CDs as needed

  • Perform clerical tasks such as scheduling, completing clinical forms, and general reception duties

  • Support training and supervision of radiologic technology students

  • Maintain a flexible, team-oriented approach to daily responsibilities and shifts

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Completion of a two-year Radiology Technology program

  • ARRT Registered Technologist

  • Delaware Radiologic Technologist License

  • Current CPR certification

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a staff technologist

  • Flexibility in work hours and duties

Preferred:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences

  • Experience operating PACS and digital imaging systems

  • Previous experience with Siemens, Philips, and Ziehm equipment
