We're adding to our team! We are seeking an Account Manager to serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients, acting as a trusted advisor across automation, controls, and integration services. This role focuses on long-term account growth, customer satisfaction, and coordination between clients and internal engineering, project, and service teams. The ideal candidate understands the technical nature of systems integration projects and can translate client needs into actionable scopes while identifying opportunities to expand services.
You will:
  • Own and manage assigned client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with client stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Maintain regular communication to understand client goals, challenges, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for expanded services, upgrades, and new projects within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop solutions that align with client needs.
  • Support proposal development, pricing coordination, and contract negotiations.
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue and margin targets for managed accounts.
  • Act as the bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and expectation alignment.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings and key milestone reviews as needed.
  • Ensure scope clarity and assist with change management discussions.
  • Advocate for the customer while balancing project execution realities.
  • Maintain a working understanding of automation platforms, control systems, OT networks, and integration services.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies relevant to client markets.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical, scalable, and compliant.
  • Monitor account health and proactively address issues or concerns.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through client feedback and lessons learned.

You have:
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within a systems integrator, automation firm, or related technical services environment.
  • Experience managing complex, project-based client relationships.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
