Summary
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Level 1 Technician to join our Managed IT Services (MSP) team. You'll provide remote and on-site technical support to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring a seamless client experience. This role is ideal for proactive individuals with strong IT fundamentals, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to customer satisfaction. At TeamLogic IT, we value interpersonal skills and clear communication as much as technical expertise.
Responsibilities
• Provide first-contact support for incoming requests via phone, email, and help desk portal.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues using remote tools and hands-on fixes.
• Perform routine updates, backups, and system monitoring.
• Log, track, and resolve IT incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
• Maintain clear, effective communication with clients.
• Document client systems, configurations, and resolutions.
• Implement and monitor security measures.
• Assist with hardware/software installation and configuration.
• Support operations and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or 2 years equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in an MSP or IT support environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, server OS (Server 2016/2019/2022), and Microsoft 365.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP/MCSA) are a plus.
• Experience with RMM tools (e.g., NinjaRMM), ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask PSA), and documentation platforms (e.g., IT Glue).
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
