TeamCenter Solution Architect

San Jose, CA

Contract Role

Required Qualifications:

  • Define end-to-end PLM solution architecture for enterprise implementations, with Siemens Teamcenter as the primary platform
  • Translate business, engineering, and IT requirements into logical and physical solution designs
  • Own architecture artifacts including system landscapes, integration patterns, data models, and deployment views
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security, and non-functional requirements
  • Provide architectural governance and design assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • 12 - 15 years of experience in PLM solution architecture and implementation, with deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter
  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale PLM solutions in complex environments
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, configuration, customization, and deployment models
  • Experience integrating PLM with ERP, MES, ALM, CAD, and other enterprise systems
  • Solid understanding of data models, lifecycle management, and engineering processes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Siemens Teamcenter certifications preferred
  • Experience in industries such as Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, or High-Tech
  • Prior experience in roles such as PLM Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Enterprise Architect
  • Experience supporting US-based clients in large, regulated, or multi-site environments
  • Design and govern integrations between Teamcenter and adjacent enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, ALM, CAD, data platforms)
  • Define PLM data models, data migration strategies, and master data alignment
  • Ensure data integrity, performance, scalability, and lifecycle traceability across systems
  • Collaborate with business, engineering, and IT stakeholders to validate architectural decisions
  • Work closely with Siemens and other technology vendors to align on product capabilities and roadmaps
  • Support sales and pursuit teams by contributing to solution architectures, estimates, and technical responses
