Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinates all Parts Distribution Center functions including processing all shipping and receiving of parts, bulk oil operations, and related department items for the company and its customers. Perform work in an efficient and accurate manner to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Assist PDC Manager in arranging work schedules, resolving personnel issues, and acting as backup when necessary.
  2. Create a positive environment with staff that motivates staff to work together in a cohesive, harmonious and productive manner to achieve the department goals.
  3. Sort, receipt, and bill multi-site orders.
  4. Assist in coordination of all shipping and receiving.
  5. Verify the accuracy and quality of all inbound shipments and note any discrepancies.
  6. File and track all account adjustments with venders.
  7. Verify the accuracy of vendor billing.
  8. Track any parts lost in transit from PDC to all sites or vice-versa.
  9. Monitor oil inventory at all sites, including PDC.
  10. Coordinate the maintenance of the bulk oil truck and shuttle fleet and report any driver issues.
  11. Maintain the fuel log for the bulk oil truck.
  12. Assist in the payroll reporting for part-time help in PDC.
  13. Help maintain cleanliness and neatness of warehouse (shipping and receiving) area.
  14. Assist in coordinating all building maintenance issues.
  15. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times.
  16. All other duties as assigned.
