Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility while still being an integral part of our school-based initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify children's developmental needs.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child.
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring goals are being met.
• Empower families by providing essential support, information, and resources to enhance their child’s development.
• Adhere to all applicable Federal and State regulations to maintain compliance and protect the welfare of those we serve.
• Develop trusting relationships with children and families to create a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to learning.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices (NLEP) to inform family strategies and treatment plans.
• Provide regular feedback to families regarding their child’s progress and recommend service frequency based on individual circumstances and family priorities.
• Utilize coaching methodologies and natural environment teaching strategies to facilitate learning and developmental growth.
• Ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere, complying with applicable health and safety standards for staff and individuals served.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on infants and toddlers, particularly those experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. By providing tailored early intervention services, you will make a profound impact on their developmental trajectories during critical early years, emphasizing skill acquisition in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication areas.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is mandatory.
• Must hold a current license from the Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Proficiency in accommodating different learning styles to address the varied needs of children and families in individualized treatment plans.
• Demonstrated experience (minimum of one year) working with children in early intervention settings.
• A strong commitment to implementing Natural Learning Environment Practices (NLEP).
• Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
