Phelps County R-III School District is seeking a passionate and student centered Part-Time Music Teacher to join our team. Located in the heart of rural Missouri, PCR3 is a small, single-school district serving students in grades PK–8 with an average class size of approximately 17 students and the benefit of a four-day school week. We are proud of our close knit school community where strong relationships, collaboration, and a commitment to student success are at the heart of everything we do.

The Music Teacher will provide engaging music instruction to students in grades PK–8, meeting with each class once per week. The successful candidate will foster students' appreciation and understanding of music while developing their vocal, instrumental, and performance skills through creative, standards-based instruction. In addition to classroom teaching, the Music Teacher will plan, organize, and direct school music performances, including seasonal concerts, musical productions, and other school programs. This position also collaborates with faculty and staff to provide musical support for assemblies, celebrations, and other school events throughout the year.
