Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Neurology Physician, you will join a growing "Privademics" practice at Touro University Medical Group, playing a pivotal role in the continued success and development of our comunity Neurology Residency Program here at Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center. Touro University Medical Group is seeking General Outpatient Neurologists as well as Epileptology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Headache, and Neuroimmunology physicians. 

Every day you will provide expert clinical care to our patients, actively teaching and mentoring Neurology residents as part of your faculty appointment.  You will also contribute significantly to shaping the next generation of Neurologists.You will practice in the outpatient office and have the option to rotate on the inpatient side to maintain you skills. 

To be succcessful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Neurologist with a passion for graduate medical education, strong clinical skills, and a commitment  to this dynamic, supportive, academically driven environment.

We are offering a competitive two-year guaranteed base salary, comprehensive benefits, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance. You may apply for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, if eleiglble. H1B Visa Sponsorship available. Academic appointment available through Touro University. Be a core faculty physician in the Neurology Residency program which is one of nine ACGME-accredited residency programs at St. Joseph’s and enjoy a mix of roughly 70-90% clinical teaching in the outpatient setting and 10-30% didactic instruction in a state of the art GME office. 


Job Requirements

Required

  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency training program
  • Board-eligible/Board-certified 
  • Active or eligible license in the state of California
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
