The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) invites you to join our team as a Substitute Teacher, working with at-risk adolescents in residential facilities managed by the Department of Youth Services (DYS).

Are you an experienced or aspiring educator passionate about working with students? Are you an individual who models compassion, patience, and flexibility? If you are interested in making a profound and lasting difference in the life of a young person, we are interested in you!


About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to experience teaching in a unique alternative setting. You will work with small classes, typically averaging just 5 students, ensuring a personalized and engaging educational experience.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will:

  • Receive prepared work plans to guide your instruction.

  • Benefit from behavioral support provided in the classroom.
