Job description

We are looking for a talented Math Teacher (middle school) for the upcoming school year.

Hourly Rate Range: $32.00–$40.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and support student learning.
  • Provide instruction in whole group, small group, and individualized settings to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Adapt lesson plans, curriculum, and instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress using data-driven decision-making.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and school staff to support student success.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) guidelines and district policies.
  • Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a structured and supportive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited program.
  • North Carolina Professional Educator's License (issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction – NCDPI).
  • Experience teaching in a classroom setting preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
  • Background Check required.
