**Compensation:**

Base rate or flat rate, whichever is greater.

Responsibilities

  • Use shop equipment such as lifts, welders, diagnostic equipment, etc. with confidence andin accordance withall safety procedures

  • Expertly diagnose issues based upon experience, analysis, and testing

  • Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials

  • Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components work and interact

  • Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components

  • Repairingautomobiles and light trucks that run on multiple fuel sources

  • Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena

  • Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities

  • Leading or trainingothers, less qualified, technicians in maintenance/repair activity whenrequired

  • Other duties as assigned.

Ability to perform job requirements of lifting 75lbs or more, long standing hours, bending, twisting, climbing, and forward reaching.
