About This Role

Seeking a detail-oriented Floater/Teacher Assistant to provide support to Teachers and the Director in daily operations. The successful candidate will contribute to a nurturing environment by assisting with morning routines, meal preparation, and engaging activities. A team player with strong communication skills will thrive in this role, fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. In this dynamic position, the Teacher Assistant will observe and document children's progress, providing valuable insights to parents and staff.


What You'll Do
  • Assist in creating a positive and safe environment by opening the facility and engaging in morning routines.
  • Support Teachers and the Director in implementing activities and programs that promote learning and development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom by actively managing materials and supplies.
  • Encourage good hygiene and self-help skills through positive behavior modeling.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from home to child care center by assisting with daily routines.
  • Adhere to all center policies and state regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of child development.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • High energy.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
