LPEED - Teacher’s Assistant/Aide


Preschool Teacher's Assistant / Aide (Part-Time) – Bilingual English/Mandarin

Location: San Jose, CA

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday

• 8:30 AM–12:30 PM or

• 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on qualifications and experience.

About the Position

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher's Assistant/Aide to

support our early childhood education program. This position is ideal for a college student

currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and Development who is looking to

gain valuable classroom experience while making a positive impact on young children's learning

and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate

classroom activities.

• Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment.

• Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

• Supervise children during classroom instruction, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.

• Prepare classroom materials, learning centers, and educational activities.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.

• Observe and support children's daily routines and positive behavior.

• Collaborate professionally with teachers, staff, and families.

• Follow all school policies and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written). Only bilingual

• Formal training or current enrollment in Early Childhood Education and Development or
