Job description

POSITION: Building Nurse/School Health Personnel, 1.0 Full Time

LOCATION: TCU Le Center, Le Center, MN

STARTING DATE: August 31st, 2026

SALARY RANGE: $19-$24 per hour, depending on qualifications and years of experience

Per the Tri-City United ISD 2905 Health Personnel Agreement

BENEFITS: Insurance, retirement, and paid time off

REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Director of Special Servicesย ย 

DATE OF POSTING: 05/14/2026

Required Licensure:ย  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with a degree in Nursing (preferred), will consider Registered/Certified Medical Assistant or EMT certification.ย 

POSITION DETAILS:ย 

TCU staff work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, focusing on preparing students for college, careers, and life. This position will play a crucial role in advancing our mission: The TCU community is dedicated to ensuring ALL MEANS ALL.

Under direction of the Licensed School Nurse (LSN), provide first aid for ill or injured students; distribute prescribed medication to students; communicate health related issues to parents and perform clerical functions related to record keeping and other general health office functions.ย  This position follows the TCU student school calendar.ย 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS:

The person in this position is responsible for managing daily student health office intake, first aid and care, medication administration, data entry and health information maintenance. ย  The Health Aide will support student learning by assisting with school health programs and services, providing health education, and evaluating health needs specific to their assigned building.ย
