Position Title: Network Architecture and Operations

Job Description:-

Building new long-term relationships with senior executives to grow TCS' engagement in the Customer's Network Engineering and Operations.   

The BRM will be responsible for growing TCS's Network Architecture and Operations services business and develop the vision and plan to execute a go-to-market strategy. 

The BRM will have long and deep experience in data communications systems and core IP networks and be very comfortable with the latest trends that are transforming the networks for the Large MSO. 

The BRM needs to bring in distinctive thought leadership in this area, collaborating with internal TCS teams for developing offerings and cross-selling to existing clients and prospects. 

The BRM must balance a wide variety of priorities and demonstrate agility and creative problem solving. The BRM is responsible for understanding the needs of the business as it pertains to winning new work works closely with IT delivery teams (centers of excellence) to meet these needs.   

The candidate will have exposed to multiple IP network platforms, with the core consisting primarily of Cisco and Juniper routers and switches. The ideal candidate will be versed in service provider network implementations such as BGP, OSPF, HRSP, MEDs, MPLS, Voice Prioritization, and carrier grade redundancy design. 

Responsibilities

Proven experience in sales strategy demonstrating an ability to synthesize a company's market and competitive position, operational and financial characteristics and stakeholder objectives into a compelling strategic plan that can be executed to drive long term growth 

Expertise in developing business cases, financial analyses, and modeling, analyzing and forecasting financial statements 

Experience working in global or multinational business in the U.S. and in an onsite/offshore environment 

Business Acumen - ability to see the big picture, understand the key drivers of the business and how they relate to each other to drive profitable growth 

Experience in Network Architecture and Operations for Large MSO/Cable operators is a must, with an good understanding of evolution of the Network, Network Management, Service Management with specific focus on IP network, SDN, NFV, Docsis 3.x, TR69. 

The candidate will be exposed to multiple IP network platforms, with the core consisting primarily of Cisco and Juniper routers and switches. The ideal candidate will be versed in service provider network implementations such as BGP, OSPF, HRSP, MEDs, MPLS, Voice Prioritization, and carrier grade redundancy design. 

Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-Level executives and ability to build relationships and effectively influence all levels of an organization both internally and externally 

High energy individual with positive attitude who can work as part of a cross-functional team 

Demonstrated track record of goal achievement. 

Willingness to travel as required 

Analytical - Possesses a high level of attention to detail with strong analytical and business reasoning skills

Experience working in a large matrix organization and leading cross-functional teams 

Track record of success in a fast paced environment; highly motivated self-starter; inquisitive and entrepreneurial nature 

Keen understanding of North America, its people, culture and way of doing business. 

Proven experience in educating internal and external customers and drive go-to-market strategy, account planning and thought leadership 

Proven experience of collaboration with the big players in the IP network arena Cisco, Juniper, Redhat, HP, Erricson, etc


Education & Experience

Bachelor degree (Computer Science preferred, not mandatory) / MBA Sales 

10 or more years of total work experience - Network Strategy and Deployment, operations/business development role in a large organization demonstrating a combination of domain, research, sales and operations experience 

The ideal candidate would be a Network Architect at some point in his/her career.
