Job description

At Tchoupitoulas Capital, we create win-win situations for our team members, investors, and clients. As a startup asset manager, we have an exciting opportunity to build a team and culture for the future.

We're seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Team.

We recognize that people are truly what makes the difference and that you are only as good as the people with whom you surround yourself. Each member of the Tchoupitoulas team is hired based on the following qualities: a positive "Can Do!" attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable and general ledger maintenance.
  • Timely reconciliation of asset, liability, and clearing accounts to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Accurately calculate costs in accordance with GAAP.
  • Verify and record entries related to loans, acquisitions, draw requests, and sales.
  • Prepare and analyze reports to senior management to identify trends, discrepancies, and provide insight for decision making.
  • Perform quarterly & year-end close assignments along with internal audit collaboration.
  • Fund KPI calculations and investor reporting.
  • Assist with special projects and analysis as the Company grows.
