What You Will Enjoy Doing
Main Responsibilities:
  • Provides Quality Engineering support for product development in Technical Center
  • Provides fresh sample testing data in a timely and accurate manner
  • Performs statistical analysis and reports for dimensional, functional and visual attributes using Quality tools and programs such as Minitab to deliver to project teams
  • Writes CMM programs and trains QA techs on writing, debugging, troubleshooting CMM programs and measurement systems
  • Responsible for reviewing all data measured by QA Techs for accuracy; determines root cause of abnormalities & out of specification results, conduct FMEA using quality engineering methods
  • Works with Packaging Management and Process Technician Teams on QA related qualification procedures for new product implementation in the TC internal as well as external ALPLA production sites
  • Understands EBM/ISBM technologies along with DFM (Design of Manufacture & Design of Experimentation)
  • Understands tolerance stack analysis and applies Quality engineering principles and provides feedback to Design, PDM and Process teams
  • Performs quality related tasks of a product qualification procedure at ALPLA production sites
  • Performs color analysis using color analysis software
  • Supports advanced troubleshooting for testing equipment and related programming issues at production sites
  • Writes/verifies testing procedures for new methods to be used at the TC (internal) and at production sites (external)
  • Performs Department and Process Audits (Experience with ISO and FSSC 22000 Regulatory Compliance or Equivalent)
  • Assist with Managing and Monitoring QATC KPIs and SPC Systems
  • Manage & Support CAPA and RCA Process
  • ISO9001 & ISO 22000 Implementation and Support with Audit Program
  • DOE (Design of Experimentation) development for New Samplings, New Test Methods (Internally and Externally requested), and CAPAs (Corrective and Preventative Actions)

What Makes You Great
Education:
  • Minimum 4-year Degree (Bachelors) in related field or equivalent, required

Experience:
  • 5-8 years of experience in quality field, required

Skills:
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in team environment
  • Experience with physical lab testing equipment, including calipers, scales, digital height gauge and compression force testing equipment
  • Able to handle multi-task environment with good organization skills
  • Excellent computer skills

Certifications/Licenses:
  • Internal or External ISO Auditing Certification/Certificate, ASQ QE Certificate or Equivalent
