Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:ย Ensure the safety and security to guests, team members, and Company assets. Perform Responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.ย ย 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

- Practice, support, and promote company-wide culture and demonstrate TCRG Service Standards at all times.

- Respond to and assist in all emergencies.

- Patrol assigned area and observe, or stand at assigned post and observe all areas to preserve order among guests, team members, and Company property.

- Respond to all disturbances in order to defuse the situation. Be prepared to become involved in a physical confrontation when necessary. Always remain alert.

- Observe, report, and take action as necessary with all suspicious situations, unusual situations, and with undesirable guests in the venue.

- Comply with all department and Company policies and procedures.

- Document all incidents in detailed reports relating to property, guests, and team members as directed.

- Act as a role model to all Team Members and always present yourself as a credit to the Company and encourage others to do the same.

- Have a working knowledge of applicable laws (Federal, State and local laws), policies and procedures and a working knowledge for enforcement of laws, policies and procedures.

- Promote positive public relations and create an enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.

- Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of any questionable association.

- Ability to provide and create a guest experience that exceeds expectations and builds loyalty.

- Practice teamwork, support fellow team members, create and contribute to an energized, positive work atmosphere.

- Maintain appropriate grooming and uniform standards. Overall appearance is to be immaculate.

- Display friendly and courteous behavior at all times.

- Be aware of and handle guest opportunities.

- Notify a Security Supervisor of any incidents, and area checks.

- Have a working knowledge of safety and emergency protocols.

- Prevent indecent and prohibited behavior, persons annoying other guests, and damage to Company property.

- Warn guests of infractions and assist in ejections from the venue as appropriate.

- Ability to be exposed nightlife environmental factors including but not limited to second-hand smoke, excessive noise, flashing/strobe lights, and stress levels related to interacting with guests in a fast pacedย  environment.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

- When assigned to screening and checkpoints, follow all best practices to ensure the safety of the venue.

- Testify in court as needed.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Work will include indoor and/or outdoor areas. Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun exposure.

- Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy etc. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. access. Tasks are performed from a non-sitting and sitting position. Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp.

- These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.

- Work may entail trained chemical usage.

- Constant contact with guests and fellow Team Members is required.

- Able to wear and use a portable radio and headset.

- Willing to work in a loud and smoke-filled environment.

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- 1-2 years working in the security field preferred

- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

- Working knowledge of the hospitality industry.

- Basic computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)

- Must not have been convicted of any crime for which registration is required.

- Experience or training in ID Checks, Incident Reporting, and CPR is preferred.
