The Position:

The Employment Tax Support Specialist provides operational and administrative support for employment tax-related services by coordinating data, managing workflows, and assisting with client deliverables, invoicing, and agency follow-up. This role ensures accuracy, organization, and timely completion of work while supporting internal teams, clients, and state and local agencies. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client outreach and follow-up to support ongoing projects
  • Gather, organize, and validate client and payroll data
  • Track project status and maintain accurate documentation and reporting tools
  • Format and manage payroll and tax-related data using Excel
  • Prepare and distribute client deliverables and supporting documentation
  • Submit tax forms and amendments to state and local agencies and monitor status
  • Follow up with agencies to ensure timely processing and resolution of items
  • Maintain accurate records and data integrity across systems and tracking tools
  • Assist with monthly invoicing and supporting documentation for services provided
  • Coordinate with Accounting to follow up on outstanding invoices as needed
  • Maintain and update CRM records, including client contacts and project details
  • Support development and maintenance of internal resources and documentation
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2โ€“3 years of administrative, data processing, or operational support experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
